The city government Cagayan de Oro through the City Local and Environmental Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) presented Certificates of Appreciation to its different partners who supported the recent city-wide river and coastal cleanliness drive.
Among the awardees who received the awards handed over by City Mayor Constantino Jaraula during this morning’s flag raising ceremony were Pepsi Cola Products Phils. Inc., represented by Mr. Jude Salvaña; Safer River, Life Saver/Liceo de Cagayan University, represented by Dr. Rosalina S. Huerbana; Del Monte Phils. Inc., represented by Mr. Jose Diaz III; Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, represented by Mr. Chico C. Maravilla and Cagayan de Oro Water District, represented by Mr. Jesilo Abragan and Engr. Carol Lao.
Other partner agencies include the Association of Barangay Councils, Philippine National Police Maritime, Philippine Spring Water Resources Inc., Rural Transit Mindanao Inc., General Milling Corporation, Lim Ket Kai Group of Companies, Cagayan Corn Products Corp., Federation of Fisherfolks Association and Nestle Philippines Inc. It may be recalled the CLENRO initiated on June 28, 2008 a coastal clean-up as part of the activities highlighting the Environmental Month celebration.
