Enchanted higlights Little Me’s 3rd foundation anniversary celebration

In its 3rd year of operation, The Little Me Learning Center has been so blessed with a team of pro-active teachers and staff, and talented kids with supportive parents who helped Little Me made it to the roster of reputable schools in the entire city of Cagayan de Oro. As its own way of gratifying all those who have contributed to its success, the Little Me Learning Center paved a way for its grandest foundation anniversary celebration ever.

Enchanted, a splendid Disney Prince and Princess-themed search for Mr. and Ms. Little Me 2008, highlighted Little Me’s 3rd Foundation Anniversary Celebration. At 9 o’clock in the morning of September 26, theme-dressed kids, parents, sponsors, and visitors who were quite excited of the event crowded Little Me’s covered court.

There were 6 pairs of kids who participated in the search: Prince Jnash Christian Lee and Princess Elizabeth Ann Baquiran of Nursery 1, Prince Andray Airron Biongcog and Princess Golden Mie Caballeda of nursery 2, Prince Erick Paul Roman Saldana and Princess Jhezierae Rhya Enif Alcantara of Kinder 1 (morning session), Prince Mike Luiz Brua and Princess Sofia Margaret Bacot of Kinder 1 (afternoon session), Prince Christian Luke Florita and Princess Cheda Trisha Abcede of Kinder 2 and Prince Zuriel Mel Galleros and Princess Aaliyah Christienna Empedrad of Grade 1.

The candidates were judged based on the following criteria: funds raised, 50%; wit, 20%; talent, 10% and appearance, 10%. Each candidate recieved 25% of the total funds he/she had raised. The 75% of the total funds raised by each candidate will be used to fund Little Me’s Multipurpose Hall.

Prince Mike Luiz Brua and Princess Aaliyah Christienna Empedrad were crowned as Mr. and Ms. Little Me Diamond and Star 2008. The members of their royalty were: Prince Christaian Luke Florita and Princess Jhezierae Rhya Enif Alcantara as Prince and Princess of Love, Prince Andray Airron Biongcog and Princess Sofia Margaret Bacot as Prince and Princess of Hope, Prince Erick Paul Roman Saldana and Princess Cheda Trisha Abcede as Prince and Princess of Faith, Prince Zuriel Mel Galleros and Princess Golden Mie Caballeda Lee as Prince and Princess of Courage, and Prince Jnash Christian Lee and Princess Elizabeth Ann Baquiran as Prince and Princess of Humility.

Aside from the major titles, minor titles were also awarded: Mr. Photogenic – Prince Erick Paul Roman Saldana; Ms. Photogenic – Princess Cheda Trisha Abcede; Best in Theme Attire – Prince Christian Luke Florita and Princess Sofia Margaret Bacot; Best in Sports Attire – Prince Christain Luke Florita and Princess Cheda Trisha Abcede; Best in  Talent – Princess Cheda Trisha Abcede, Princess Sofia Margaret Bacot, and Prince Andray Airron Biongcog; Mr. Friendship – Prince Christian Luke Florita; Ms. Friendship – Princess Elizabeth Ann Baquiran.

The Prince and Princesses of the search were accorded an honor through a grand motorcade around the city proper. The entire entourage of the search participated in  the motorcade.

Though graced by the kids’ beauty and charm, the “Enchanted” and even the entire 3rd Foundation Anniversary Celebration of The Little Me Learinig Center was not a mere show of good looks; it was a grand showcase of everything that an autthentic Little Me Kid can show and give to the world.

    I enrolled my little princess Bo 2 summers ago when she was only 2 years old. As young as she was, the staff made sure that she belongs together with the rest of the class who was much older than her. It was quite an experience and Bo is heading back to school with Little Me to nurture her ever inquisitive mind.
